This notice summarises how personal data of uniar.net visitors is processed under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
Data Controller
uniar.net (ÜniAR — University Research Laboratory) is the data controller for personal data processed on this site. For questions, please use the contact channels on the About page.
What Data Is Processed?
No personal data is collected from visitors who browse without an account. If you create an account, your e-mail address and session data are processed to provide the service and stored on our secure infrastructure (Supabase). If you consent to analytics, page views and interactions are processed in anonymised form via Google Analytics.
Cookies and Local Storage
The site uses two kinds of storage: (1) Essential — required to keep you signed in and store preferences; no consent needed. (2) Analytics — activated only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner; choosing "Essential only" means no tracking cookies are set. No advertising or marketing cookies are used.
Purposes and Legal Basis
Data is processed solely to provide the service (performance of contract), ensure security (legitimate interest) and understand site usage (explicit consent — analytics). Data is never sold to third parties.
Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may learn whether your data is processed, request correction or deletion, request restriction of processing, and withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us to exercise these rights.
